Organisational Experience

The director of Alchemya held a senior management role in one of New Zealand's largest commercial cleaning companies. After 5 years she decided to leave as she believed that a commercial cleaning company could and should be providing a better service to clients and a stronger focus on people and the environment. Starting her own company was the only way to provide the freedom and clean slate required to achieve this. Three driving principles inspired the creation of Alchemya in 1999:

This vision has been realised.



These foundations in a national scale commercial cleaning company gave Alchemya Cleaning large scale operational experience from the very beginning. The positive aspects of this experience have been applied to a smaller organisation, enabling Alchemya Cleaning to have strong disciplines yet be far more responsive, dynamic and flexible than the big cumbersome companies.

The company director maintains an overview of the entire business so that our clients are not passed from one person to another when trying to get information. And as the key personnel of Alchemya are such a tightly knit team chosen and guided to achieve the company vision, our clients are guaranteed a unique level of accountability.
